Was really good to start with. As soon as the game started they turned the fans off for some reason which turned the stands into absolute sweat boxes especially in this pre storm humidity. Not the best first experience.
Decent venue for a basketball game, good location and transport options, shuttle bus service to Garden City made it easy. Getting in and out of the venue is easy and quick, food options are the typical fried food we see in this kind of venue.
Great arena for sport. We saw the Brisbane Bullets play and it was great. Not too big and I don't believe there would be a bad seat....you would be able to see from anywhere. Good aircon, sound, and access.
Great venue for Bullets games. Really enjoyed our trip. Very family friendly atmosphere. Pretty easy to get to on public transport.
Okay sports hall.
Update: i am going to change it to a one star. I don't think there is enough shaded parking spots. The restrooms could be taken care of a bit more.
Last time we came for our Brisbane premier volleyball league game we were told multible times we may need to change courts while playing and may wait 45 minutes for a free court?? What was that about? I think with events like this you guys need to leave some buffer time with other events or cleaning like. Also, the main netball court lights went on and were shining in our sides eyes.
This time they trying out loud music randomly every once in a while.
Beautiful stadium, the first time I have been in it for a game. With the lights on and seats out the atmosphere is incredible. If coming into a game recommend going to the bathroom first although clean are very busy. Make sure to get there early as staircases are limited. Friendly staff and nice and clean, hope to see more big events here in the future.
Great venue. Went here to see the Brisbane bullets match. Highly recommend to prepay for parking. There's food trucks outside before the match. Free activities for the kids before hand too.
Went to Nissan Arena Saturday night to watch the Brisbane Bullets basketball.
Great little newish boutique stadium that accommodates around 4,000 spectators. Parking is plentiful just outside the arena in the pre-paid multiple level parking building. Failing that, there's plenty of free parking in the streets across the road from the Arena.
Once inside the stadium, seating is comfortable and all have a good view of the court.
The facilities on offer are clean and modern, with plenty of food & beverage outlets, as well as toilets.
Egress from the car parking building after the event is always going to be a long process, with everybody trying to leave at once. It is worth delaying departure for a while, but the traffic controllers working in the car park do a great job in making the exiting process as fluid as possible.
Good basketball venue, there for Brisbane and NZ game on 4th February.
Long time taken to park due to full house crowd. Game great, but Brisbane lost in overtime.
Clean and tidy arena. It could do with more shaded areas outside when you have an event happening. Food prices are high ($14 for a basic cheeseburger, no chips) but it tastes good.
